County Councillor David Hall has kindly allocated £3,000 from his AAP Neighbourhood Funding Budget to support a community project (s) in the Parish and has asked the Village Partnership and the Parish Council for potential projects ideas.
Before deciding on which project (s) to support with this funding, Cllr Hall is seeking feedback from residents in West Rainton and Leamside on the following projects suggested so far:
• A memorial to remember those we have lost in our community during COVID 19 both to the virus and also of other causes (type and location to be determined)
• A defibrillator for someone in cardiac arrest (location to be determined)
• Big Lunch and NEW Miners Banner Celebration Event 2021 (if allowed due to government guidelines)
• A bigger and brighter village Christmas tree each year ( Mains connection for lighting, tree to be located on Village Green opposite Jubilee Hall).
Which project (s) would you prefer the funding available to be allocated to?
