New protocols for our cemetery come into force on 1 March 2019. They have been introduced to improve the appearance of the cemetery and to ensure that it is a safe and tranquil environment for all visitors. Details of the new protocols are available at the Policies, Procedures and Information section of this web site.
Details of the date, time and venue of scheduled parish council meetings can be found on the “Council” drop down menu – “Meetings Diary”. All meetings are open to the public and attendance is welcomed and encouraged. Agendas are published in advance on the Village Notice Boards and on the website. ( See “Council” drop down menu ).
ANNUAL PARISH MEETING
The Parish Council is required by law to hold an Annual Parish Meeting.
The Annual Parish Meeting is NOT a meeting of the Parish Council. It is a meeting for all the local government electors living within the parish boundary. This is usually held in May each year. This meeting is held so that the Parish Council can explain what it has done over the last year; to enable you to ask questions and give you an opportunity to have your say on anything you consider is important to our community and parish area going forward. The Annual Report for 2017/18, presented at the last meeting in May 2018, can be found under “Council” – Agenda’s and Minutes.
